These tests are regularly performed by an independent laboratory and allow us to ensure that our quality standards are always upheld. Care instructions

Machine washable at 40°C max. Tumble dry on low. Do not iron. We have chosen organic farming to reduce our environmental impact and better respect the ecosystem around cotton production. However, how you care for your clothing has an impact on the environment. When you wash your clothing, avoid pre-washing. Also, washing at 30°C instead of 40°C means energy savings of up to 37%!

Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemicals. Organic farming methods have been specifically designed to reduce the impact on the environment. It helps preserve biodiversity and soil fertility, and reduces the risk of polluting groundwater tables. Finally, water usage is reduced by 60% compared to standard cotton.

Why do yoga?

Yoga, a practice that has its roots in ancient India, promotes harmony between body and mind. Regular practice results in wellness of mind and body. It helps your body become more flexible, strong and toned. It builds self-confidence, relaxes your body and reduces stress.

What does “Ahimsa” mean?

The Yamas (ethical code) and Niyamas (observances towards oneself) allow yogis to live in harmony with the planet and others. The first rule of the Yamas is “Ahimsa” , which means non-violence, or respect. This is why we have chosen to express this sentiment on our organic cotton tops.

A product’s environmental impact is calculated for its entire life cycle using various indicators. An “ABCDE” rating system has been created to help you quickly see which products offer the best environmental performance. Use it to compare two similar products (T-shirts, bottoms, backpacks). S.S.I actively promotes this visible environmental rating policy.
